The Wolverine or My Obsession with Tao Okamoto

NOTE: If you haven't seen any of the X-Men movies including The Wolverine, this blog post MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

I was super skeptical about the new Wolverine movie. Any franchise that messes with the story plot continuity, loses my respect. (i.e. Where Charles Xavier is walking in X-Men 3, but yet loses his use of legs in X-Men First Class. [Get your story straight, darn it!]) But, Micah wanted to see it, and well, why not? I was most pleasantly surprised. The Wolverine completely blew X-Men Origins out of the water. (Thank goodness.)

But, let's be honest, 50% of the reason I even remotely enjoyed this movie was because of Tao Okamoto who played Mariko. I loved the outfits she wore, especially in the second half of the movie. I felt they played up her soft features and made her the perfect picture of femininity. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any images to show you.

Some highly popular magazines might have complaint against the movie, and the Mariko part because Tao plays the more traditional "princess-in-distress" role. However, I see this as only further setting the stage for her femininity to shine. I'm not a fan of Tao Okamoto's modeling works, simply because I think they take away from her beautiful face.

After a bit of Internet stalking, I found her official blog, which has cats in the header. CATS.IN.THE.HEADER. I think I'm in love. I also found her instagram. So, I'm off to stalk. I leave you with these lovely photos.
She has such a nice smile.
Love the fresh face look.

Seriously, this girl has some sort of other world beauty going on here.
Stay classy, ladies. ;)
